Privacy Policy
Last updated: 30 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how PrepZ ("we", "our", "the app") collects, uses, and protects information from users of the PrepZ NEET preparation application, available on the Google Play Store.
1. Information we collect
- Account information: name, email address, and phone number provided at signup.
- Study activity: practice sessions, mock test attempts, timetable progress, and performance history, used to generate your personalised reports and study plans.
- Payment information: subscription purchases are processed by Google Play Billing; we do not directly collect or store your card, UPI, or bank details.
- Device and usage data: basic technical information (device type, app version, crash logs) used to maintain app reliability.
2. How we use your information
- To provide and personalise core features: practice sessions, timetables, mock tests, and reports.
- To verify subscription status and provide access to paid features.
- To send service-related notifications (study reminders, subscription status, important updates).
- To maintain, secure, and improve the app.
3. Data storage and security
User data is stored using Supabase, with row-level security policies restricting each user's data to their own account. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information but cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.
4. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Data is shared only with the service providers necessary to run the app (e.g. Supabase for storage, Google Play/RevenueCat for billing, Firebase for notifications), each bound by their own data protection terms.
5. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us at the email listed on our Contact page. Account deletion removes your study history and personal information from our active systems, subject to any legal retention requirements.
6. Children's privacy
PrepZ is intended for students preparing for NEET, including users under 18. We do not knowingly collect more information than necessary to provide the app's core educational features, and we encourage parental awareness of app usage for younger users.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
8. Contact
Questions about this policy can be sent to the email listed on our Contact page.
